ABOUT TUFO TOURS
Tufo Tours was founded in 2025. "Tufo" is Italian for tuff, consolidated igneous rock ejected as tephra and volcanic ash when a volcano erupts. Tufo is also the name of a town near Naples, and Greco di Tufo a white wine with Greek origins. The name "Tufo Tours" has profound meaning, it represents everything we know about the fates of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
We adhere to the principle of low impact tourism for education, ergo group tours are not our remit. We reject the illogic of mass tourism for profit. Our focus is privately guided tours.
